· We will be talking all things content--- Strategy, scheduling, planning workflows, tools
· Your content is your voice to the world
What is content?
· It is how you share your voice. It can be in the form of:
o Social media posts
o Videos
o Writing (blog, books, etc)
o Audio (podcasts, radio, audio books)
o Any PR
o Classes, courses, live events (if repurposed)
· It is the way you speak to your audience; always keep the conversation going
Ask yourself… what does your content say about you?
o Is it absent? Non-existent
o Sporadic?
o Professional sounding
o Not aligned
Your content should inform/educate, entertain & inspire
Inform/Educate
· Your voice should be speaking who you are, what you care about
· You should build your credibility in yiur niche by your content
· You should inform readers of pertinent industry news in your niche.
· You should resource others through your content
Entertain
· Show who you are
· Be relatable
· Show moments of your life
· Share things that are “on brand”
Inspire
· Inspire your audience to be and do more
· Share things that inspire you (on brand)
You always must be on brand
· Scrub your social media if necessary
· Be in alignment with your message
· Shows clarity & professionalism
Product Strategy
· Based on your audience
· Speak to their pain points
· Speak to the way they want to receive from you (ask them what they prefer)---- written , video, audio…
· Offer things for people that are visual, auditory, etc.
Never deviate from your voice…..
